Specify Work Terms of Service

These terms apply when you access or use Specify Work. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.
The service
Specify Work is an operating layer for work, ideas, agent sessions, approvals, reviews, durable memory, Recall, and optional personal-capacity observations. Features can change, be corrected, or become unavailable. The service does not promise that every feature will always be available or that stored information will never be lost.
Specify Work can coordinate actions performed by AI agents and can retrieve machine-generated search results. Agent actions and generated output may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing consequential actions and for obtaining qualified professional advice when needed.
Your account and agents
You are responsible for activity authorized through your account and for keeping your sign-in session secure. Agent credentials are shown for configuration, scoped to particular capabilities, and can expire or be revoked. Treat them as secrets. You are responsible for choosing the scopes you grant, configuring only clients you trust, reviewing approval requests, and revoking access that is no longer needed.
Do not attempt to bypass tenant boundaries, record visibility, scopes, credential expiry, approvals, request bounds, or other access controls.
Your content
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You authorize the service to store, copy, index, transmit, and otherwise process that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the features you use. Active memory content and semantic Recall queries can be sent to the configured embedding service as described in the Privacy Notice.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit content and authorize its processing. Do not submit unlawful content, malicious code, credentials, or information that you are not permitted to use or share.
Acceptable use
You may not use Specify Work to:
- Violate applicable law or the rights of another person
- Gain unauthorized access to an account, tenant, agent, system, or data
- Probe, disrupt, overload, damage, or evade protections on the service
- Distribute malware or use the service to facilitate harm
- Misrepresent an automated action as having been reviewed or approved when it has not
Third-party services
The service depends on configured third-party infrastructure and may connect to agent clients or other services at your direction. Those services have their own terms and policies. Specify Work does not control a third-party client merely because you configured it with an agent credential.
Suspension and changes
Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or data; to address suspected misuse; or to comply with applicable obligations. You may stop using the service at any time. Product and policy changes will be reflected in the published service or these terms.
Disclaimers
Specify Work is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is made that the service or its output will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
