Members and roles
Who is in your organization, what each role can do, and who approves agent requests.
Invite people
In Members, choose Invite people, add addresses and pick a role. Each pending invitation holds a seat for 7 days. You can give only a role whose permissions you hold, and only an owner invites an owner.
What each role can do
- Owner: everything, including billing and making other owners.
- Admin: members, roles, projects, agents and security. Sees billing but does not buy.
- Member: work, projects, files and agents. No billing, member changes or deleting tasks.
- Billing: plan, seats, payment and credits, and the member list.
- Viewer: reads work, projects, files, agents and memory. Changes nothing.
Roles lists every role with how many people hold it. Open one to see its permissions by area.
Make a custom role
- In Roles, choose New role, or Duplicate on a role that is close to what you want.
- Name it and tick what people with it can do. You can tick only permissions you hold.
- Give it to someone from their row in Members: open the row's menu and choose the role.
Changing a role changes it at once for everyone who holds it. Archive a role once nobody holds it.
Give one extra permission
To let one person do one more thing without changing their role, open their row's menu in Members and choose Extra permissions. Each one says who gave it and when. Taking one back asks first, and you can take back only permissions you hold yourself. Extra permissions only add; to take away something a role gives, change the role. Who has, above the table, shows who holds a permission either way.
Decide who approves agent requests
With Only approvers decide agent requests off, the person whose agent asked decides. Turn it on and requests wait for someone with Approve agent requests. Changing it needs Manage organization settings.
See who changed access
People with View audit log see Access changes at the end of Roles: roles made, changed and archived, roles given, extra permissions given and taken back, and people joining and leaving.
