Add a link or a screenshot with a note to a Design folder, or to Unsorted. Pass the folder's id (in its link); an exact name works for recently changed folders. A screenshot is two calls: start its upload, send the bytes, then add it by file id.

No other scope applies. write:design stays with people, and a screenshot is stored in Files without a link target, so the target scopes (read:projects, write:projects, read:memory, contribute:memory, curate:memory, read:agent_sessions and document scopes) are never checked.
